ABOUT US
AZADY: Digital Civil Society Institute dedicated to promoting human rights through insightful initiatives by the scholars and human rights defenders, including articles, thought-provoking podcasts, and engaging discussions. The Azady: Digital Civil Society Institute supported by EU Protect Defenders. Our goal is to create a platform that fosters a deep understanding of human rights issues in Afghanistan and encourages conversations that promote social justice and equality. We believe that everyone has the right to live a life free from discrimination, oppression, and injustice, and we are committed to working towards that goal. We consider freedom as a means of providing the people of Afghanistan with their entitlement to human rights, and as such, we have named our organization Azady: Digital Civil Society Institute. The word ‘Azady’ literary means freedom in Persian, Pashtu, and other languages spoken in the region.
